All originals reproduced into prints are created at a locally owned professional print shop, The Arts 317. My friend Vernon is a retired mechanical engineer who now enjoys running a print shop with his wife creating the highest quality in prints, photography, as well as having generous hearts in promoting local artist. Most importantly for you: he shares my obsession with precision and color matching.
With each print run I have the private invitation to check proofs in person for color match accuracy, paper, and print quality.
The originals are photographed by the print shop owner, so all test runs are matched side by side to the original.
Canvases are printed on a printer specifically designed for printing high resolution artwork reproduction. possessing a minimum of 300dpi, a 12 color print head with archival inks. After printing the canvas is coated with museum grade varnish.
